As an experiment I turned off Comment Moderation the other day. It was my hope that by turning Moderation off it would make it easier for everyone to discuss topics in an intelligent manner.
Unfortunately, it wasn't long before a comment appeared that was totally inappropriate with gross language. Femdom is not an a sex blog nor is considered adult only. While I do appreciate comments please do not use language you would not use with your mother or sister.

ReplyDeleteI would like to do something for You to make it up even though it wasn't me who did that.

Kathy - how sad. Seems to me that those who use abusive language are the ones who need help. I understand that femdom may not be for everyone and if that is how some people feel, fine. Then just ignore femdom sites. Do these people truly feel that their ugly words will have any effect? I don’t think so.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and the loving message you share.

Ms Kathy,
ReplyDeletenot everyone is like them and I hope it didn't upset you regarding blogging.
Many husbands are not looking to read extreme gross language, but simply looking to learn more about real marriages in the real world and how to better serve their wives.
your blog is great and I look forward to reading more.

If it was not for my wife taken charge, this male would be in so much trouble. This is not a sex blog, this is a blog to share your life. Using such words I would be soundly spanked, sitting would be hard for sometime, not included having my mouth washed out with soap.
ReplyDeleteWhen a woman gives heck and demands higher standards from men, I must say it excites me. I am one of those males who is terrified of verbal confrontation and for that reason, I could never make it as a manager. My lovely wife is the exact opposite, she is extremely assertive and outspoken and succeeds where I fail. Opposites attract! The other day I said to her some stuff about some people that she thought was derogatory. I didn't agree, but I felt really nervous about displeasing her, and so I apologized and promised to never again speak like that. Acquiescing that way to her made me feel like she was making me wear lipstick and pantyhose. But, then again, I was doing exactly what you'd expect somebody who licks her feet every night to do. When I see four lights ahead, and my wife tells me there are five lights, I will myself to see that fifth light. That is fundamentally who I am and I am so at peace with it, and so proud of being that way.

It is unfortunate that this topic is all too relevant. I have seen online venues swamped by spam/ trolls/filth. It seems that anonymity allows those of dubious character to express anti-social behavior. So far as I can see, the only solution is diligent moderators.
ReplyDeleteActually, we should have anticipated this sort of behavior on the Internet. A clue was the use of anonymity to make obscene phone calls using old fashioned land line telephones.
